Ethos and Practicalities
There are a few things we would like convey when it comes to our ethos and practicalities, some guidance on this adventure all-together if you like;
This is a community event, in essence - it is one big house party. Please treat it as you would your own home (use the bins).
We encourage you to join us for dinner at the beginning of the evening (7:30pm) and generally to connect with and meet people.
Please be considerate of others and only enjoy one portion of food.
Respect the dance floor, it is a sacred space. Please try to keep conversation and mobile phone use away from the music, be mindful of the dance floor as a place for listening and moving. There is space around the bar, on the mezzanine or outside for chatting.
Respect the venue and the people you are sharing it with. Be considerate of your actions in the space and the impact you leave behind.
We strive for an environment where all are welcome and free to be themselves. A space where we feel safe and relaxed. Care for yourself, your friends and the people around you - look out for one another, stay within your limits. Please read our safer spaceship policy at the bottom of this email.
If you need help with anything at all, come and find an organiser via the door, the bar or the decks.
We welcome all and any help to pack down and clean up the space 6-7am, if you are still standing! Pizza and tea will be provided.
On a more practical note;
Please do not BYOB. Instead of bringing your own booze we ask you kindly to support the party. We have been working on making the bar more affordable and have had some great feedback on the drinks available. There’s a range of good quality beers, cocktails and alcohol free options. Please note, the bar is card only.
PLEASE PUT YOUR FAG BUTTS IN THE BUCKETS/BINS - because we have to pick them all up before we can go home.
We have a list of names of ticket holders on the door. There will be 50 or so more tickets on the door before 11pm, cash or card. After which there may be a queue.
We have a self service coat rail available, all belongings left at your own risk.
Dinner will provide for vegan and gluten free diets and allergen information will be available. Every care is taken to prevent cross-contamination, however we can’t guarantee that there won’t be traces of allergens in the food.
Entrance to Drop Studios is through Florentia Clothing Village - 108 Vale Rd, N4 1TD. Head through the gate, walk all the way to the carpark at the back and turn right.
Please respect the Village, it’s a private space, please stay within the venue and do not wander around.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and please pass along to others attending with you. Any questions, please ask.
